French coffee chat in the morning. Then successful sandal shopping at last! In, of all places, Bata. The sales person knew about the Bata Shoe Museum in Toronto and asked about it (in French). It was a nice conversation, and even nicer to finally have sandals that can handle the rough cobblestones.
For dinner: I was seized with a desire for something fresh and spring-like. After much slicing and dicing we had a very colourful dinner of red cabbage, carrot, parsley, apple and green onion in a mustard/honey/vinegar dressing.
