Our trip back to Grenoble was tedious - who said traveling around Europe is fast and easy because it's so small compared to North America? We had to take a connecting flight through Madrid, and we were stuck in the Madrid airport for ages as our flight to Lyon was delayed, time after time. Once again we were stuck looking for decent food. Turns out a McDonald's salad was the best to be had.
We finally got into Lyon late at night, catching one of the last buses to Grenoble. How nice to finally be home!
